In all seriousness, what is so amazing about this potential series is the fact that we haven't played Florida since the Donyell Marshall NCAA Tourney Missed FT Game in 1994. Still my most painful loss as a UConn fan in any sport.

With the combined success of the two programs, it is incredible that we haven't met up in a Preseason or NCAA Tourney game since 1994. Very exciting if it happens.

Texas was the #1 team in the country the first year of that series. It was a great get at the time. And Stanford is supposed to be pretty good next year.
