Ok, as we're almost through the first round lets get this thread going. Who do you think has flopped the most or put on the best/worst performance so far? I'll post a clue as to my vote, CD (not our coach).

Dungee has 27 points. She’s not the reason they’re losing.

Dungee was only 5 for 15, but she got to the line 20 times. She even blatantly flopped to draw an intentional foul. But at the end, Arkansas tried to draw contact & missed chances to tie the game. Live by the sword....
Slocum 1/8, Ramirez 3/14

Didn't say she was the reason (good of you to figure out who I think is the best flopper btw) but that field goal percentage is awful. I'm talking about overly dramatic flops and just being plain out silly acting like that. Of course, as a senior, we all prolly would, lol.

Nice point by fomalhaut!

At some point back in the day the Wright State coach at that time asked Geno if the WSU staff could visit Storrs for a few days to learn from Geno and his staff. Of course the answer was 'yes'.

Inexplicable that they didn’t put the ball in Dungee’s hands for the last play of the game. Three grads, four seniors and they fumble away the game. Unbelievable. One of the all time great chokes in women’s basketball.

3 way tie for worst yesterday goes to
Kierstan Bell FGC
Anastasia Hayes Middle Tennessee
Leger-Walker Washington State

Best yesterday goes to
Aliyah Boston South Carolina
Rennia Davis Tennessee
Paige Bueckers UConn

So next year who returns for Arkansas?
Jersey Wolfenbarger, who had a serious growth spurt in high school and now at 6’5 could play a little 1-5, I’ve seen where she was compared to Erin Boley, and since she likes to hang around the 3 point line and let it fly (probably one of the reasons she chose Arkansas), I can see the comparison.

Do you take joy in picking on 18-22 year olds? Or just non UConn players? Exactly what was your performance in NCAA March Madness?

Refer to the Husky Nan's post on the General Board. Quote : "While we’re at it - stop insulting the kids in other programs. This isn’t a new pronouncement. It’s been part of the rules here for decades. WE DO NOT TRASH PLAYERS. Period."

I think it was more about Wright State's defense. They were denying Dungee hard and Ramirez knew time was winding down and she is an 80% FT shooter. And to be honest that drive to the lane and get a foul called had worked for them the 1st 39 minutes of the game.

Not sure what kinda list this is for 'Best Yesterday' but I would add Natasha Mack! She was sensational yesterday.

Saying someone had an awful field goal percentage isn’t trashing. If the poster had said Dungee was a head case, that would have been trashing.

LOL...UCONN fans are exempt from this rule because we criticize our own team more harshly than we insult an other team. UCONN won by 43 points last night & held the opposing team under 60 points. But they are being maligned on this board for shoddy defense, missing layups, bad fouls, & low energy. And there wasn't one criticism in the forum of their opponent High Point!

Madison Cable was the worst flopper I can remember. In one game she shot a 3-pointer and sat down! She then proceeded to look at the ref incredulous that no foul was called and there wasn't anyone within three feet of her. I think it happened at least three times in that game.

Dungee was standing on the arc unguarded as Ramirez drove to the basket. Simple kick out for an uncontested three in rhythm.

Just don’t know if this thread is relevant anymore, MM retired from coaching. Maybe Coach Ivey or Coach Duffy can carry on!
