I ranted about the announcers for the MN game chatting away about all but the live action. I'm likely paraphrasing a bit, but today the woman was droning on about something unrelated, lost her train of thought, then actually said: "I was distracted by the action on the floor."

I watch all sports with the sound off so announcers are obviously of no consequence to me, the feed today was largely ok, with a couple of rough spots. The only annoying thing for me was not having team fouls on the screen.

The whole process is a joke. It was much better in 1950, when all you had to do was turn on the TV, turn to the right channel, and go sit in your chair.

How about a little thing like no shot clock.

Of course probably you only had a choice of maybe three channels and women’s games weren’t broadcasted, and the games were in black-and-white and the resolution was only a fraction of what it is today, but other than that it was terrific.

1950: 15 channels....UCONN did not have a Women's BB team until 1974....
Resolution was better than what I saw on Flo Hoops on Saturday.

As a WCB fan, I find $12.50 to be an incredible bargain for a month of Flosports, even w/ technical difficulties during the Bahamas event.

There's a _ _ _ _ ton (as the kids say...used to say?) of content.
Bah. For that money you could get Disney and Discovery.

15 channels in the 1950s? I doubt it, at least not that you could get with your arial. In Connecticut in the 70s it was three networks plus one or two UHF channels, one of which was PBS. And we agree that there would be no women’s basketball. I don’t know about you, but I watch the vast majority of the game at 1080p. The maximum resolution in the 50s was 483i.

That said I am no fan of flosports. Still, I am grateful for the opportunity to see every game.

Nope. The first undefeated season was 1902.

Doesn't FloHoops understand that there is a shot clock in basketball? Maybe someone should explain the concept to them so that they can add it to the TV score display.

They're already struggling with the score display which seems to change with more regularity than the actual score. Not sure if they're to be trusted with a shot clock!

We had an antenna on the roof(swiveled),,,got all CT channels, 7 from NY, 1 from Albany, and a few with not as good reception, from MA. and RI.
...WHY would I lie about it.
