I'd be curious why. West Virginia was unspectacular in the one game I saw on TV. More importantly, their best for the season was to split with OK, OK State and Iowa State (actually 1-2 vs. OK, as they met them in the B12 tourney as well). I would say they generally won the games you would expect and lost the ones you would expect, otherwise.I can see WVU beating Delaware!

I think the thought is that Delaware, while going undefeated in their league, had a good number of squeakers against the likes of James Madison (won by 1) and Drexel (won by 3). They brought back 5 starters from a team that was ranked in the top 10 last year. The expectations were higher, i think, for this year.I'd be curious why. I am generally suspicious of Deleware since they were never tested, but I just am not sure that WVU (this season) can take them.

The fact that they won is great, but they lack of domination, in the opinion of some, makes them vulnerable to a stronger team like WVU. I'm not sure WVU has enough offense to win, but their defense is always really good.
I could see Albany making UNC work for it, if not upsetting them. They play some great defense. I bet Katie Abrahamson-Henderson picked it up while playing for CVS at Iowa.
