If the kid somehow manages to be an awful college player (unlikely) I'll still put him as a uconn great for that.

Part of me ... actually all of me.. wants Ollie and HamD to be in on this together for two years now, ready to crush Cals hopes and dreams out of spite.

I'm thrilled it turns out he will be in town for tonight, but even if he weren't the fact that he has come previously, and the fact that Kentucky will probably have Drake and 5 other music mega-stars in the building for their event tells me that its possible the kid was just going to enjoy this period of being wooed as long as its happening.
