My older sister and parents were fans of folk music from the early 60's and being as how I was barely more than a toddler at the time I didn't have much input as to what was on the radio and the record player back then, but I did hear some great songs.

Here's one that my father really liked.

As I got a bit older and started to develop my own musical tastes I remember a lot of Vietnam era songs that told stories with object lessons to them. This one received a lot of airplay on radio.

of course, this was all before the chicoms put million dollar bounties on both sepentza and laowhy86's head. an ongoing tale.
pretty amazing tale of how two blokes, just tooling around that place on their bikes, decided to hook up and film that whole dang place. and inform the whole world what's going on there. their 'bug origination' video hit millions of hits in a nanosecond, and then us, the un, and pert near everrone else got woke to those shenanigans.
