It's more than just Glen Miller... Post-play is just not a part of the philosophy on offense. Which is a big mistake, because when baskets are hard to come by, this is the type of game where you dump it down and use your physical advantage to get easy buckets.

If Miller coaches the bigs then he had got to be strongly considered as the major reason for the consistently inept rebounding by our bigs.

Even if we assume that Brimah himself is solely responsible for never improving, I still can't think of any other power forward or center in the past 5 years that Miller has developed into a competent rebounder. Or competent offensively. Facey and Brimah are 4 year vets, hard workers, smart, and decent athletes for bigs. 4 years, no improvement. This us on Miller. He's not a bigs coach and something needs to be done, and soon, because no one on that staff is a true bigs coach.

Wow sorry but you can't be real. You're throwing this on Miller you just are way off. Facey and Brimah aren't improving because they are both so limited they never will. It's really that simple you may get a glimpse of what can be and that's on them, they aren't SMART basketball players period - there's nothing else there and to look at Miller is beyond ridiculous by anyone!

Briimah isn't the issue. Which of our bigs improved under Miller. Defense and Rebounding is bad let alone offense. Our best rebounders the last few years have been perimeter players like Hamilton and Napier.

Who have we had that was any good is the right question. We have not recruited a big who comes in ready to play in ages. Man the fact people think this is on Miller is downright hilarious. The fact is Brimah and Facey kinda suck, would not even be near a roster in the ACC unless it was a bench guy. You can make smart players better, you can't make kids who know little about the game better it's really simple. They are not smart basketball players or else they would have improved "despite Miller" or at least your thoughts on Glen. Not sure what you're missing here we have no bigs! We need Diarra, Durham and hopefully Enoch to become something these 2 never have and won't. But again, one is undersized at 6'6", another is physically challenged after 2 surgeries and the other has been slow to respond but looks to be the most skilled, needs some foot speed.

Not a Miller thing many people I am sure have worked with these guys besides Glen Miller - nothing there to improve! see the UK's, the Mich States, Kansas these kids come in and can rebound and score the ball on the interior - there's your answer. Bring kids in ready to play and he looks like a good big mans coach immediately!

Agree can't blame assistant coaches but no one said you can't over-recruit these kids. No one is forcing you to have to play them. The fact that there is no one in the junior class and Steven Enoch is not pushing them to the bench. The need for a big man has been an issue for awhile (not just one who has a year of eligibility) and they recruit Dunham who has the same build (tall and lanky) and more of a face the basket skill set. We can only hope Diarra once healthy brings something that is not being brought by any front court player....

Hoping Brimah and Facey now seniors all of a sudden get it is not a strategy to improve.

Miller cant keep polishing turds its getting like a magic act. Brimah is passive and definitely not an alpha dog, he has been getting by with his size and minimal skill and everyone knows it.
