San Antonio is in attack mode in the 1st Qtr, just like last game. Their offense has been clicking the past 2 games. Will be interesting to see how Miami adjusts.

Miami is finished. Wade brought nothing tonight, most of them brought nothing tonight. They need another energy player or two to fill out their roster as they don't have any life.

I thought these two teams were dead even after the first two. Clearly I was wrong. San Antonio is just a much better team - crazy to think that Dallas gave them this much trouble.

I do want the Spurs to win but I am a little disappointed to see it like this but credit the Spurs they are super hungry its not very often you hear Tim Duncan predict a series win.

I thought Game 3 was going to go down to the wire with the Spurs were up 25, because I thought they were playing way over their heads and would come back to earth. I was almost right - Heat got it to 7, but then flatlined.

I don't see a rally this time - Wade looks ready to match up with Sidney Moncrief in an old timers game, and Leonard can make life difficult enough for LeBron that he can't take it over by himself. They have too much dead weight - really needed to find a Patty Mills type who could come in and create some of his own shots. I'm a big Ray guy, but he's 39 next month and you pretty much have to hope he gets open on a breakdown for him to have an impact. He's not a difference maker.

A big difference between this Finals and last year's is that Boris Diaw is getting playing time. The ball movement is even more crisp than before.
Diaw got PT in 2013, even had a couple big 3s IIRC. It is Patty Mills who is seeing a big increase in PT.

Man I'm so happy to be eating crow, I thought this was going to be another nip and tuck series and with The Spurs dropping game two at home I thought Miami was the team to beat. Never been so happy to be so wrong, the Spurs are putting on an absolute clinic in Miami. I've never seen this kind of ball movement, it's kind of unbelievable to watch, Pop is an amazing coach.

Yeah, he got playing time but not compared to this year. I don't think it's any coindence that the Spurs are blowing out the Heat in both games Diaw has started in.

Spurs look great, no doubt about it. Look like the best team in the league.

But the Heat are mailing it in. You don't shoot 75% over a game unless the other team isn't playing D. Just doesn't happen. And now that the SAS are shooting lights out again, the conclusion is that the Heat are playing crappy D and just not bringing any energy.

The Heat experiment looks to be over. If LeBron is smart, he'll bolt the hell out of Miami ASAP. Allen and Wade will likely both be a bit worse next year. Bosch is good, but an inconsistent roll player. Everybody else is a scrub. LeBron needs to be on a young team with lots of energy. Don't even need a lot of talent. Just a bunch of guys who will play tenacious D and work on O to get open looks, and then actually hit a few of them. The Heat guards are just horrid.

And that thought about bring in Anthony? Holy flying sh-tballs. Bringing in a ball hog gunner loser who plays zero D is exactly the opposite of what Miami needs.

Tony Parker has to be the best all time finisher for point guards in the history of the league, right?

This has to be the smartest, most emotionally together team I have ever seen.

It starts with Parker and Duncan and Pop. Their combined BB IQ is off the charts. The leadership they show is amazing.

Leonard and Diaw just feed off that leadership.

Amazing.

I actually think he has something they could use. They have to replace Wade. Wade can still really play well when he is rested, but you don't get to rest in the playoffs and they need more offensive options.

I don't think there are many teams in the NBA that would be better off with the addition of Carmelo Anthony, since to get him that team would have to dump salaries from players who are worth more than Anthony.

I think this is the end of the road for Miami. Unless Miami has a time machine for Wade, he is on a rapid descent. He depended on driving for points, and all those bumps are starting to show on him. He is never going to be a superstar again. He needs to go somewhere where he can play under 30 mpg and be an "elder statesman". Toronto is one candidate, where they could play Derozan at 3 since they play some weird lineups there anyway. Bosh is a really good 2nd or 3rd option but not a star that can carry a team. I would not be shocked if Lewis, Allen and/or Battier retired. Lebron and Bosh could stick around and drag out a few more playoff berths, but with good young teams like Washington, Detroit and Toronto, and an Indiana team that is just a mediocre point guard away from being a championship contender, Miami as it is currently constituted has made its last NBA Finals. Either they pull off an overhaul (with someone other than Anthony), or they fade into a gradual decline.

It is amazing how much better the West is than the East. This Spurs/Heat series should have been a sweep, and it would take a major turnaround to even get back to Miami for game 6. San Antonio had battles in the first and third rounds, and I think that a Houston/San Antonio series would have been epic but Houston got picked off.

Ridiculous. The heat win and lebron is the greatest of all time. They lose and it's everyone else's fault.

Is he getting a ton of help? No. But the "goat" is also getting dominated by kawhi Leonard. Come on.

He gets no help in Cleveland so he goes to a stacked Miami team that STILL has three hall of famers and now it's time to go somewhere else where someone can win him some more rings.

Why can't he go out and set the tone and dominate the spurs? He had what 8 pts at half and then a big 19 in the third after they're down 20 at half. He's scored 30 pts 3 times since the Charlotte series (16 games) and his assists aren't up either. 15 in 4 games this series with I bet close to if not more turnovers (7 last game).

He's the best player in the world but I am so sick of the excuses people make for him. Nobody else cramped up in game one. Game 2 he's great and people won't stop raving about him. Kawhi freakin Leonard dominates him for two straight games and now his team sucks (which they do right now) and poor bron brown needs a better team

Ridiculous. . . . Kawhi freakin Leonard dominates him for two straight games . . .
1st of all, Leonard is turning into a top talent in the league, so don't sell him short.
Second of all, LBJ went 10-17 from the field today, including 4 of 8 from 3 for 28 points. AND he had 8 rebounds.
The rest of the starters shot 11-34 and 0-5 from 3 for 38 points. Together they had 7 rebounds.

Straight comparison:

LeBron - 10/17, 4/8, 28, 8
Other 4 - 11/34, 0/5, 38, 7

I respect your opinion, but I just have to disagree with your conclusions - both of them. He didn't get "dominated," and the problem IS everybody else, and not him.

If nothing else is learned this year, the Heat MUST learn that their current formula is obsolete, and that, minimally, they need to seriously overhaul the team.
