Crazy how we can finish anywhere from 2nd to 6th after this series.

This is a preemptive warning to all the UConn baseball boneyarders. Get ready for a rough series on the basepaths. With UConn’s super aggressive approach and ECU’s ability to pick off runner, it could get ugly.

Knew I should have waited (and #$@$% - I had Saturday off specifically)

UConn will honor its four seniors: Isaac Feldstein, Trevor Holmes, Joe Rivera and Troy Stefanski prior to the first game of the series.

All 3 games I attended this season resulted in UCONN losses. So I will be staying home today and tomorrow.

You're welcome!

ECU gets 1 hit, but unable to score. 0-0, Start of the Bottom.

Glad we got 2 runs out of that one. ECU pitcher sure loves to check runners. Could be a 5 hour game...

UCONN should have scored in that inning. Score remains 2-1 UCONN after 3.

3-1 UCONN after 5. Gotta do better with runners in scoring position.

1st and 2nd, 0 outs. ECU fails to score. Nice recovery by Feole. On to the Bottom of the 6th. Still 3-1, UCONN.

I’d like to see Mason come out now and bring in Wallace and PJ to close this one out. Mason will be on short rest come the AAC tourney and they need him full strength to make some noise in Clearwater.

I have mixed feelings about that. Winning this game is vital. I think I'd like 1 more inning from Feole. (Not at the jeopardy of his health tho.)

A fresh Wallace is better than Feole over 100 pitches. Plus Penders runs the risk of not only hurting the team in Clearwater but more importantly Feole
