Kentucky & Wichita get first place votes?

USA Today/Coaches Poll
I dont care if Wich St is 35-0 or whatever--beat the teams we beat--even Cincy and Memphis just before 8 out of 9 bet most teams could not do 8-1 out of our last 9 games. We proved to be the best team sour grapes otherwise. Who are the coaches who did not vote us--they should stand up.

I don't see it this way. Honestly we weren't "the best" team, but that doesn't matter when they lace em up and hit the court.

I really don't understand how Florida isn't #2. They freaking deserved it. Kentucky did not.

I dont think coaches can vote for themselves so one of those coaches was Ollie and the second is anybodys guess. If i had to guess id say it was Donovan supporting his SEC bretheren. No biggie.

Only 32 coaches vote each year. One was probably Boeheim.

So, who voted for Kentucky or worse yet Wichita State? Was it Little Bo Peep up in Syracuse?

North Dakota State coach Saul Phillips voted Kentucky first with UConn second. He voted his team 25th, which is the only vote ND State got.

Even more puzzling is that Texas State coach Danny Kaspar voted Wichita State first, and UConn 9th!! He had Wisconsin 2nd, followed by Florida, Arizona, Kentucky, Michigan, Michigan State, Louisville, UConn and Syracuse.

Don't really care about a post-season poll that much (we're No. 1 in the only way it counts), but it's concerning that these coaches get votes. The only defense I can think of is that they know that this post-season poll is lame, and therefore they use it for political purposes.
