There's no athletic advantage. Michigan isn't Kentucky and Loyola isn't Winthrop. They're two evenly matched teams with similar styles. Loyola is not some traditional mid-major that chucks threes. They took THREE three-pointers in that half.

While I would not take it that far (go Michigan) the announcers and media do tend to go way overboard with some of these human interest stories within the game, it is cheesy and watching sports in several other countries I do not recall it being this over the top.

Loyola does a great job on screens. They are generally going under the screener, but the screener's defender is doing a great job at hedging and mixing in some traps.

These dome FF games alter the game a lot. If you can’t shoot from outside because your depth perception is shot, it changes the game strategy.
