Good to see they took him off the floor for OT.I had a pickup rule that I would set 2 screens and slips, and if the guard didn't pass to me on the first two, he didn't get another screen, the rest of the day.
Notice how Nova 's offense flowed much better in OT? Acaden Lewis was not on the floor. Is that koinkidink? I don't think so.More like choke job by Acadien Lewis - he was a empty caloried ball hog in the last 2-3 minutes.
He is, Linsey can stroke it. 3 players shooting over 40% from three is impressive. Not a bad team, better with Lewis off the floor, for now at least.Impressive response from Nova on the road after they blew it in regulation. They gathered themselves and dominated overtime. Nice hearing the Nova chants.
Duke Brennan is a nice big.
He doesn’t really do anything really well. A combo guard without any real outside shot or passing feel.I wonder if he would have been better at UConn if he had stayed. He probably wouldn't have played much his first 2 years but at least he would have been on 2 national championship teams rather than mired in mediocrity at PC.
The problem is that other conference bubble teams have way more opportunities to build a resume in-conference. Non con was more important for the big east teams. It's not a lost cause for the Villanova's of the world if they lose tonight, but their margin for error is a lot smaller.
That's a weird take.Is your mind blown that the Big East team didn't lose by 50 points? I checked, and it turns out the Big East teams have won some other non-conference games. How is that possible?
Seton Hall and Nova just have to keep the WTF losses to a minimum. They're both going to rack up wins in conference play.As of right now, it looks like the league has four tournament teams.

Lewis is usually good but he did suck in the later stages of that game. Nova is solid in Willard's first year, don't really have any dynamic athletes yet but they have good solid fundamental players. He is, Linsey can stroke it. 3 players shooting over 40% from three is impressive. I'm not rooting against the Big East. I am just being realistic about where the conference is. I just find it so strange that you have your head buried in the sand and refuse to admit where the conference is. Anyone that posts anything remotely against the Big East being good this year and you go ballistic. That's the only issue I have with you. I'm sure you're a nice guy but this makes you seem really strange. That's why many of us have been mocking you the last week or two.Is your mind blown that the Big East team didn't lose by 50 points? Butler would be trending toward #5 if they win tomorrow.Let's see what Butler does with Northwestern and St. Johns does with Kentucky.

Butler is a 2 point favorite so I doubt it's an easy win for them. Hopefully that's the case but that's a high expectationAdmittedly I don't know too much about Northwestern as their only remaining player from 2 years ago is Nick Martinelli (they lost to UConn in 2nd rd in 2024) and their only P5 win is a narrow 2 or win against DePaul. Butler should win easily-not good for the Big East if they don't.
Sr. John's being most likely the 2nd best team in the Big East has to beat Kentucky. That's the game I will have the most attention on. If the lose to Kentucky that would be a major dent for the Big East.
