OT: FIFA World Cup Soccer Tickets ?

For anyone going to any of the MetLife matches. How are you getting to the stadium? I’m going to the June 22 match Norway/Senegal. Thinking of parking at American Dream Mall for 225 bucks. Cheaper for a group to do that than the round trip train ride.

My wife and I are going to the same match on 6/22. She was fortunate to get selected for the initial ticket lottery. We, reluctantly, bought parking at American Dream 1-2 months back. It was expensive at $225, but might be the best option with all that has come out this week regarding no parking in the lots and the high cost of the trains (about $100 per ticket).

I have tickets for 3 games at Jersey and one at Foxboro. Looking to sell 2 of the games (both in Jersey) but was thinking about just parking somewhere 10 miles away and then ubering to the stadium. Will that work?

Yeah, that might be my move. Just curious did you need proof of a match ticket to book the American Dream spot?

I believe all drop offs have to be at the Meadowlands Racetrack and that’s a 20 minute walk I think?

I think she said that you need to use the same email address as what was used for game tickets. I don't think she had to have proof of tickets.

FIFA really is the worst. Here are the issues I'm having:
  • I bought 3 games for me and 5 games for friends. I wanted to transfer the games to the friends. It's impossible to do. The tickets are not where FIFA says they should be. I found a back-door way to find the tickets (which actually had seat assignments), but there's no way to transfer them from there.
  • I guess I should've sprung for Cat 1. I bought Cat 2 and they are towards the half-way line, but WAY up. Like 3rd to last row on one of the games.
  • No tailgating at Metlife? Ok, I guess. No parking at all? That's crazy, but I live on a train line. Now there's rumors it may be $100 to take the train!!! NJ Transit trains from Secaucus to Metlife are not typically transporting the whole stadium to events. Even with extra trains, it's going to be chaos.
  • I bought the games expecting to go to all. But part of me now just wants to just sell all the tickets. But I definitely have to bring the family to at least one of them. I have Round of 16 tix in Philly. Maybe I'll keep those even though it's less convenient. If I sold all three games at the current rate it could help pay for some of the kids' college expenses!
Apparently NJ Transit is going to charge $150...HFS that's a lot for a shortish train ride, but nah, it's not price gouging, it's recouping cost, LMFAO!
World Cup fans to MetLife Stadium will pay $150 train fares - NJ Transit
