You have to wonder how many of those viewers tuned in for the Chinese National Team, and not because of viewers from the United States.

I could be wrong but I always thought these ratings were based on the US only.

True, as I know it doesn't include Canadian viewers because a different company had the Canadian rights. However, couldn't it be possible that some US viewers could be immigrants from China who want to support their former country? Either way, the numbers are excellent considering the time difference.
