Anyone know if the games are available somewhere on-line?
This looks like a really fun tournament - three outdoor courts with teams playing two games each night. Games start at 6PM local time and run till 11:30.
Men's, Women's and Mixed - though I do not see any schedule for the mixed, which would be lots of fun to see.
Location is also pretty special in Greece.

Skylar, Bria, Annie and Chiney? Is that correct for team USA? That's a pretty good team but I wonder how Annie will do. Hopefully a great experience for them... where are these games taking place? I think it's Greece - is that correct? Do the players have to pay their own way or does Team USA foot their bill for travel and lodging?

I suspect they will only show the Mens games and it appears only WebSport 1 has the games. That may change later.

Hope you're correct and if so, then we should be able to see the USA vs Angola at 2:30PM Eastern time.

It appears that they only have cameras on court 1 so if you check the schedule USA women play their second game today on court 1.
Schedules are here:
http://greece2012.fiba.com/pages/eng/fe/12/3x3/wc/p/schedule.html
They have three games at each time slot (three courts) - games are 10 minutes each and 10 minutes between games so three per hour per court

Woops - four courts so 12 games/hr - 5 hours = 60 games (actually looks like 59 today.)

USA (W/M) should be playing their first games now I think. And we will find out in a few minutes if TV will be on Court 1 permanently as the first women's game on court 1 should be next up.

USA beats Germany 22-9 in their 1st game. The schedule has the results of the games. Link May have to switch to the Women's schedule

The listed team does not currently have Diggins - assume that is just an error.
In watching these games I can see how Annie would be very good in this game - big guards are a premium as you end up playing against everyone. Would imagine a player like Stewart would be great! Same with CP3

Can you imagine EDD playing this game? I would love to see a team of EDD, Stewart, and two guards with great passing skills and some size. KML would also be great in this game.

I really like this - I hope Fiba succeeds in taking this game worldwide. It is getting back to the playground game. I could see it taking off in the same way beach vollyball has.
According to the 3x3 site they are really trying to promo a 'pro league' with worldwide rankings, organized tournaments, etc.

First, I can legitimately say, It's Greek to me, but: It looks like there are three channels. If you click on WEB Sport you'll be able to select the other two channels. Nothing broadcasting now, but I wonder if they will show the other courts on the other channels?

Regarding the question on location. It's in front of the Zappeion Palace in downtown Athens. A great location. You can google it for more info.

And lastly, the team is 50% Uconn. Note to recruits: Join Uconn, see the world.

We ought to make a list of the countries that Huskies have visited, either as part of the team, or subsequently, as part of a basketball team (I wouldn't count personal vists to another country, as part of a vacation.)

OTOMH:
  1. USA
  2. Russia
  3. Italy
  4. Mexico
  5. Greece
  6. Israel
  7. England
  8. Chile
  9. China
  10. Czech Republic
  11. Poland
  12. Latvia
  13. India
