Blazing Saddles was my old bosses favorite movie. He used to rig up his ipad to play it on his windshield while driving at night, like a heads up display. Of course, everything was reversed, but it didn't matter to him. Oh, and he could recite every word too.

Actually, I'm old because I remember that Mel is over 2000 years old. Also, I noticed that he is introduced by Dick Shawn. I taught Dick's son Adam at a private school in Connecticut in the seventies. Man am I old.

I was excited when they planned a sequel to History of the World. Loved the first two. The new one was so awful I couldn't finish watching it. This doesn't give me hope for the new Spaceballs. Watching the clip, though, it occurred to me that Mel is really turning into the 1,000-year-old man.

I thought I could just outlive everyone who is better than me in order to get ranked #1 in the tennis age 90+ division.

Now it looks like I'm gonna need to keep improving...;^)
