wow. Two professors bought $250,000 worth of no bid equipment from companies they own with grant money and now UConn's grants are suspended. This is really bad:

It's only relevant to grants in which those two professors are investigators, which are less than 1% of UConn-Storrs grants. It's embarrassing for sure, and damaging to those professors, but not an issue that will affect realignment or UConn's future.

What? Its not like this is the biggest academic scandal in years to hit an athletic program or lack of institutional control that will suspend a hall of fame coach, this is much, much worse. Affect UConn in realignment? This 1% may very well be the nail in the coffin. No way we are getting in now. Not with the Kansas City DMA available. No way.
