Good end to January yesterday, good start to February today!

Purdue trying to get right vs MD;

Bama visiting Florida after Golden said he didn’t care for the Bediako eligibility;

Illinois going to Nebraska for a B10 showdown

One month closer to Madness!

There is Quinnipiac vs Fairfield today

side note. I really don't watch any NBA. No football today so I told my daughter we could watch an NBA game. I check the schedule, the Celtics play at 3:30 and everyone else is this evening. I used to spend many Sunday afternoons watching basketball when I was young. Or maybe it was just that the Celtics were on. It's too bad. I checked the Boneyard pro sports board and surprising there are no NBA threads there either, just one about Wemby, so maybe everyone is kind of off the NBA

this is great, just awful

Watching ISU/KState.
I understand the meaning...but
the KSU uni's look like the 70's CYO league.

My reaction as well. I don’t usually care about uni’s but I’ve had better playing in company leagues.

I was worried bediako was gonna be a silver bullet for bama by providing the rim protection and rebounding they were badly missing, and while he is doing that it appears my fears maybe were overblown. Having said that I don’t want them to be the 4 seed in UConn’s bracket.

PS- UF somehow doesn’t have a single turnover yet

Alabama well nate oats' MO has always been all O NO D. they want to outscore you. That works against lots of teams but when you play a team they plays good defense they make you look terrible as you cant stop them and you can't score

This is probably Jerome Tang's last year, been downhill since the Markquis Nowell Elite 8 run and with his recruiting approach hard to see that changing

I just thought about him too. It’s weird when these guys have a huge year and then a good year then it just fades. Like, they were one of the hottest programs and in a few years they’re awful.

How/when did Maryland get so bad?? Their best win this year is Marquette. Buzz left A&M (who btw is now first in the SEC) for this??

Yuck

Right after Gary Williams won his only national championship…. they really haven’t been good since

His rosters look like Last Chance U every year and then he tried to blame it on rules changing when the guys he tried to get eligible had no eligibility

Villanova upgraded and A&M hasn’t skipped a beat. Maryland in the middle missed the momentum train
Buzz left on his own right?? Seems like a very odd move. I mean Willard UPGRADED going to Nova.

I think they were decent the year they beat us in the tourney….it hasn’t been THIS bad for over 20 years

Maryland was decent enough to win the whole nut in 2002, beat Indiana 64-52. Maryland was 27-9 last year and lost in the sweet 16 to the ultimate winner Florida. Maryland actually didn't make the dance the last 4 years in the ACC. They've bounced around between mediocre and OK but it sure seemed like they were better in the ACC

Maryland in the Big 10 makes about as much sense as Rutgers in the Big 10. Or Cal and Stanford in the SEC. I love the fact there are so many epic fails in this conference realignment crap. They are definitely one.

Watching Ill/Nebraska and there are 9 white guys on the court out of 10. No comment other than how often do you see that this day and age?? Nebraska looks very well coached.
