A TCU upset of Iowa St would be a nice cap to the evening
For many years now TCU plays these teams tough but I don't remember Jamie Dixon actually winning one of these games.

Hopefully he can tonight.

We’re now at the point in the season where we don’t know if it’s better to root for the teams we beat to keep winning, or, root for them to lose because they’re threatening our seeding a bit.
Seedline battles are generally more important this time of year, because the teams are just 1 of 20 wins or whatever.

I kinda miss those Pitt battles with Jamie Dixon as the coach.
You don’t see the same exact thing w St. John’s now?? The comparisons couldn’t be any more appropriate.

It's always so straight forward and definitive. Sometimes completely contradicting a point he made an hour prior. It's wild. Then he gets mad that people call him out.
He thinks that once you post it disappears forever

.-.
Wagler with a big 3 to cut it back to 3!

He's got 30+, Yessoufou from Baylor had 37 I believe and Dybantsa with another 36. Freshman are pretty, pretty, pretty good
Acuff with 26 with 6 mins left in a blowout. Might have 4 freshman go for 30 on a Tuesday night in February.

I don’t know if we’ve ever seen something like this in college hoops.

Duke/Pitt is another one of these games this year where I feel like the underdog just quits. Pitt's defense wasn't bad in the first half, but it looks like they aren't even trying in this half.
Pitt sucks, but I was surprised the amount of ball movement and spacing they were able to get vs Duke - they had a lot of good plays and good looks, but didn't convert them. Plus the foul shooting is worse than ours.

I don't think Duke was really up for this - I figured they'd be mad enough to just blow Pitt off Cardiac Hill.

Acuff is nasty - repping IMG but he's a dawg. I loved Lewis last year as a lefty, but seeing Acuff consistently I see how good he is

Illinois and Nebraska losing cements the gap between #1-6 and everybody else.

The problem is that we're currently at the bottom of that #1-6 and a matchup with #3 is looking like a road game.

TCU has turned completely stupid.

Down 3 with 3:19 to go

I admit, I feel ignorant, asking this question, he’s still the coach?

This freshman class is great in tiers. Speaking of Lewis, he and Nigel are at the top of the conference in this stat.

Wow. TCU gets a real and scores 2.

Up 4

TCU with ball after missed free throw

At line. Hits 1. Up 5

TCU should win. At line. Kid hits both.

I watched Iowa St earlier this year against Iowa and was completely unimpressed. They’re an easy pick for an early upset from a higher seed and they just lost to TCU
