God. Only 3? That’s impossible. I’ll take a page from superjohns book and say any decent rapper who can spit over a premier, Dre, rza, or Pete Rock beat- or anthying by: biggie, nas, wu-tang, tribe, jigga , gangstarr, big L, snoop, jadakiss, jeru, big pun , mobb deep, j cole etc... also -some Kanye, some drake - I kno that was a cop out answer but can’t name just three songs. There’s too many amazing tracks I’ve listened to over my lifetime

Before my time so still exploring the era. Also can't really decide so I'm gonna break the rules and give 5.

Brooklyn Zoo - ODB (love pretty much anything off his first album)
Shook Ones, Part II - Mobb Deep
The What - Biggie/Method Man
Work - Gang Starr
Shame on a N**** - Wu Tang

If this song doesn’t get u hyped- then u might not have a pulse. Love lil kims verse.

Guess I don't have a pulse. I could fall asleep to that.

I'm an old white dude who likes melody and hooks, so what do I know. Old school still rules for me. I like Chuck D's social messages and generally can't deal with BS tracks about bitches and riches. Waste of time. Haven't heard anything as emotionally tortured as "Kim" in 20 years. Lay down something more than a simple beat and I may be interested. There's some trip hop I find appealing and I'm all for mixing genres, but sampling a bunch of the simplistic stuff posted here, I just don't get what the fuss is over most of these artists.
