1. March Madness
2. October baseball when the Yankees are playing even though it usually ends in disappointment these days.

While I love March Madness, nothing beats October. All 4 sports are going on. the NFL is in full swing, MLB is in the playoffs.

I think October is 2nd, but I agree overall. Awesome month. NFL and college in full swing but weather still solid, bball is about to start and baseball is playoffs.

Of course March, I’m assuming most of us live in the north east. The whole month breaks up the time with winter weather as we feel it won’t end. When it’s March you feel the warm weather on the horizon coming faster. Sure helps when you travel somewhere warm during March.

I will watch the conference tourneys I don’t care if it’s two 20 loss teams playing each other. Mid March is cool with NFL FA and the BE tourney starting. I have opened up to the play in games so long as UConn isnt in it. Of course selection Sunday. The Thursday-Friday is a holiday itself add in a non stressful fun holiday in St Patrick’s day of course if it falls on the Thursday-Friday of the real tourney that’s one lethal combination lol.

I like how March goes right into April with sports.

Since 30 days is also considered a month I will go with early March to early April as number One….college basketball ….. then put mid September to mid October a close second start of football and baseball playoffs

One of my personal favorites is the first weekend of the football season, specifically going to the first game at the Rent, firing up the grill and being fired up for football sure is nice the last 4 years.

Nothing like that adrenaline rush after the summer heat and the weather is still nice but not humid. I feel it’s one of the biggest sports highs you can have.

September is fun with the weather, football and baseball pennant races coming down to the wire and that’s nice how it goes right into October.

Nothing beats March usually, especially when UConn is good, but June and July beat out March for me when it's a World Cup or Euros year in soccer. A close 2nd would September because it's when European soccer, college football, and NFL are all back.

I love March Madness but October is a great month as well. Hard to choose between March and October for me. October has the NFL, the beginning of NBA, NHL, CBB and MLB playoffs.

March. Anticipation of MLB, March Madness. October/September would be 2a/2b with CFB starting and the pennant races.

I would say October would be #1 if the Pirates were in the playoffs, but in the rare years they've made the postseason, it hasn't lasted longer than a week since I moved here in '02.

It's hard to beat your baseball team being in the playoffs. It's collectively worse for my health than any UConn tourney run. Every pitch I'm glued to the TV. And the chill in the air adds so much to the event.

I love when the Red Sox are in the playoffs in spite of the stress. Unlike some others, I usually watch through the Series even when the Sox get bounced early like last season.

Yeah. I chose march but admittedly it's harder to watch the tourney if we aren't in it deep. But baseball, i don't care who's in it. I live for mlb playoffs. The best

NHL playoffs are very intense as well but I've been a baseball fan for longer since about the age of 8.

The top three:
  1. March: UConn hoops and hockey
  2. September: Beginning of NFL and UConn football
  3. November: NFL heats up, near the end of UConn football, start of UConn hoops and hockey
The bottom three:
  1. July: There is nothing of interest for me.
  2. June: Maybe I'll watch the NHL championship
  3. May: NHL playoffs are OK if the Bruins are playing
