I said Feb. The combination of NFL playoffs, big time college hoops, and the unofficial kickoff to PGA tour season at the WM is great. Also there are Kentucky Derby prep races that start to shape the field.

Outside of Feb, it’s March, obviously.

Well March madness and October is up there but November is the best month— NFL is in full swing , so is college football , college basketball and UConn is starting up, NBA is starting , plus the holidays coming up —November clearly number one, and sometimes the World Series leaks into early November. Can’t beat that. October a close second tho

For March you have college basketball you have the end-of-season sprint, the conference tournaments, and the NCAAs. Baseball spring training and opening day. Masters right around the corner. NHL playoffs firming up. Auto racing warming up.

On the flipside, the worst 2 days of the year are the day before and after the baseball all star game.
Agree. I thought there used to me some minor league games scheduled during that time but I looked quickly at both AA and AAA and those teams are on All-Start break as well. But there does appear to be some NBA summer league games which isn't really my thing unless UConn players are involved.

I find December a bit of a drag.

Bowl season is not the same as the regular season so it's always sad to see the regular Saturdays of college football end not to mention players now sitting out bowl games.

The nfl regular season nearing an end while it is exciting having an extra playoff team and adding an extra week makes the last week less exciting, it's watered down a bit. The playoffs are mainly in January now.

Baseball offseason just drags on and on with no activity now of late, its all a game of chicken with the owners and agents, specifically Scott Boras.

Basketball and hockey the season is so long, UConn is usually trying to find their grove and sitting guys out with minor injuries (knock on wood) all understood. Lots of weeks off too.

Not to mention Christmas is a stressful holiday with family. I'm always thrilled when it's over.
