Underrated player whose name doesn't get brought up enough. She improved leaps and bounds during her time at UCONN and became a first round draft pick. Very fun to watch with her speed.

Unfortunately the list of possible candidates is growing since the Stewart era. I believe from the first championship to the last there were only a couple of classes that didn't have one championship. There are plenty of personal favorites, but in terms of legacy Paige and Azzi are number 1 recruits, and by historical standards it is very unusual for a number 1 recruit to not get one here.

One more reason I think both will be back next year.

This is a group if healthy these last 3 years would have had several NC's!

No disrespect, but might have. No guarantees. As they say, games are not played on paper.

If all 14 players were healthy this entire season, do you think Geno would have incorporated a 10, 11, or 12 player rotation? Good players sit on the bench at all levels of basketball.

A healthy Paige and Edwards play 30+ minutes in March Madness. A healthy Fudd and Nika play 25+ minutes. That leaves 90 minutes maximum for 10 other healthy players. As Geno has said, who do I take out?

As we have seen in the past, Geno has been Captain Hook with young players at Final Four. Gabby Williams played 3 minutes in championship game versus ND. Saniya Chong played 3 minutes in 31 point MOV championship game versus Syracuse. Both young players made mistake and immediately were subbed out.
