Because of the injuries bug that has taken the chances out of their hands talented players such as Aubrey, Nika, Paige, Azzi and Aaliya have been denied a serious chance at a National Championship!
This is a group if healthy these last 3 years would have had several NC's!

No disrespect, but might have. No guarantees. As they say, games are not played on paper.

If all 14 players were healthy this entire season, do you think Geno would have incorporated a 10, 11, or 12 player rotation? Good players sit on the bench at all levels of basketball.

A healthy Paige and Edwards play 30+ minutes in March Madness. A healthy Fudd and Nika play 25+ minutes. That leaves 90 minutes maximum for 10 other healthy players. As Geno has said, who do I take out?

As we have seen in the past, Geno has been Captain Hook with young players at Final Four. Gabby Williams played 3 minutes in championship game versus ND. Saniya Chong played 3 minutes in 31 point MOV championship game versus Syracuse. Both young players made mistake and immediately were subbed out.

You forgot Caroline, but otherwise I concur these young women should have had several NC's!

Lou from last year's team not KLS who played with Pheesa!
Not only did KLS get injured just before the Final Championship game, she also tested positive for Covid just before the 3x3 Olympic Games. Talk about hard luck.

As I recall it, KLS twisted an ankle in early March against Houston and played less than half the game. As a result she missed the next four (4) games prior to the start of the tournament. It's the only reason Phee passed her on the all-time UConn scoring leaderboard. She re-injured it slightly a couple games before the Final game, but played 40 minutes against Notre Dame for the title. However, both Katie Lou and Phee won NC awards their freshmen year.

Maya Moore (2007-11): 3,036 points.
Breanna Stewart (2012-16): 2,676 points.
Napheesa Collier (2015-19): 2,401 points.
Tina Charles (2006-10): 2,346 points.
Katie Lou Samuelson (2015-19): 2,342 points.
Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis (2011-15): 2,178 points.
