There was actually a series of these. In addition to the spot, it also harkens back to the time when butter was evil and margarine was the answer. Margarine was also one of the few things that my mother would not go generic on ... and she went generic on almost everything. However, we had to have Imperial Margarine and Heinz Ketchup.
