OT: Favorite Basketball to play with?

I'm bored. Let's talk favorite basketballs.

IMO it's HANDS DOWN the old school TF-1000. They stopped making the good ones years ago, but I stole a few from gyms I would visit as a coach and would leave one of our Evos (Sorry SWHS).

My #2 is the Evolution, followed by The Rock and the Molten FIBA ball.

One that never missed. I loved those. My playing days are long gone but i’m crushing my 9 year old granddaughter playing horse on an 8 foot basket with a soccer ball.

I actually bought a Legacy TF 1000 a few months back for when I shoot with my kid but it’s just not the same.

@husky249 Couldn't agree more with 1 and 2. Both are great but oddly enough I liked the TF-1000 better for shooting and the Evo for ball handling.

I like the TF-1000 also and my son has our old one. He likes the Wilson Evolution better though and he says that is the ball they play with in intramurals at college. The notice the Evolution has a softer cover that makes it easier to handle.

I really like the Evos when I can chalk my hands. They get slippery when you have sweaty mitts like me.

Same order for me, but I probably haven't played with a TF-1000 in 5+ years now. Evolutions are usually what's around.

Similar question, favorite outdoor ball? Evolutions get chewed up relatively quickly on the asphalt.
