This one to me was the most hilarious quote of the season. After the Big East Tournament game against St. John's when Hurley got into it with a fan at courtside and got a technical.

“Cam, did you have a problem with me today?”

“No issues, Coach,” Spencer replied with a smirk.

“I didn’t touch anybody!” - Danny Hurley, after repositioning Cam Spencer in a national championship game in full view of 75,000 people and 15,000,000 folks watching on television.

“But nobody [at UConn] saw any of that as a negative.” - Cam Spencer’s mom talking about how she had hoped Cam would someday calm down and stop using profanity on the court.

“This year's UConn team is the best team I have ever coached against.” - Sean Miller

“They are the best team I've ever seen.” - Kim English

“They are the best team I've ever had to play against and prepare for.” - Ed Cooley

“Connecticut is the best team in college basketball because they can win any way you want to play. They have an advantage if you want to play fast or slow, zone or man, it does not really matter.” - John Gallagher (Manhattan)

"Any time you played Danny's teams in the past, you knew you had to win a street fight," said Manhattan head coach John Gallagher, whose team lost to UConn in late November, during an interview with FOX Sports. "Now in the last, I'd say, two to three years, you gotta go into the library and win the debate, too.

At 12:30 to go in the 2nd half, Stan Van Gundy, after Illinois finally scored to end the now iconic UConn 30-0 run, asked these questions:

"Can anyone compete with UConn, let alone beat them? Is there anyone out there that can even make a game competitive with them?"
