I liked this series from the jump, but am completely sold now.

The monkey the glove did it. The face when it finished...

I like VEEP, but jeez, it's the same show every week.

I was waiting for someone to tell me Family Tree was good before I started it. I have had some false starts with HBO and Showtime shows.

Veep is mindless fun. Jonah is the perfect young Ivy League . That character must be a blast for the actor.

Girls

The show got incredible reviews on when it first started, and I could see why reviewers liked it so much. It was very original and the dialogue is very well written. But the characters are whiny narcissists and after about 4 episodes I was hoping for new characters that were deeper and less entitled. The only remotely appealing character was the 23 year old virgin. The hot one and the English one were total b's, and the lead character is just annoying.

I couldn't take any more of it after one season.

We were a couple weeks behind, and yes you are right. Also liked the lashing out at the prospective birthday party mommy.
