It doesn't matter who comes in after P. Who ever comes in has to BUILD the program(which P is trying to do now) in a land where up until recently basketball was king and big time football was only a dream. So don't get your hopes up to high when some of these flashy guys peeps in here want to see take over don't take the job. Will UConn ever be able to compete at the highest levels of D-1 football? Sure..... but it's going to be a long, slow climb and probably another 2 or 3 head coaches from now. Calhoun didn't do it over night. Neither did Geno... so don't expect a miracle worker cause it just ain't happenin. In basketball 3 or 4 recruits can change a program in a season. It's not like that in football. It takes years to build a program and when your starting from the beginning like UConn is it might take a decade to be a perennial top 25 team.
