There's no need to hypothesize about whether Facey can play the 4, the 3, the 2.5, the pi. All it comes down to is this: because there are 6 or 7 guys ahead of him that KO believes give us the best chance of winning based on the skills they bring to the game. There are only 200 minutes available each game.
If a guy is a force and contributes, then he plays, regardless of whether he is a "true 3" a "stretch 4" and all that hoo-haa.
Next year Facey could be a really, really good sub and/or starter. But this year he's a spot sub.
And that's okay, really.
