UConn up 1 point with about 3 min to go. CBS announces they are going to the MD - Neb Women's game and you can watch the rest at cbs.com? After 5 min of commercials they went to the Tip-Off. CBS SKS

For a network that has been streaming tournament games for close to a decade I wasn't very impressed. I lost my connection at least 6 or 7 times , it took way longer than 2 minutes to come back from a lot of the timeouts and it was only in HD for a few moments here and there.

That must have been a local affiliate decision. My CBS stayed with UCONN until the end of the game then switched to MD/Neb womens already in progress, and I am in Big Ten country?

Same for me (except the Big Ten part). That's peculiar.

They did it in the mid-atlantic - couldn't believe it. Never scrambled for my iPad so fast!

OMG they would leave a real good mens college hoop game for that crap? I can't believe that, especially since the women team in Maryland don't carry that big of a stick.

They didn't switch in Boston.

This from the local affiliate who did not show a UConn-Tenn game in the early 2000's because it never snowed and was supposed to. They literally showed people standing in Worcester, Boston, and the Cape talking about why snow didn't come the night before instead of the top 2 teams in the land.

This happened in DC too.

At least we have options now. The worst was when the local DC CBS affiliate did this during the UConn - Kansas game in '95 (or '96?). The station was flooded with angry callers - enough so that the Washington Post had a short article about the screw up. I had to watch the ticker at the bottom of the screen on ESPN for "updates." They don't have a good track record....

I'm in the ATL and they didn't switch. Probably because of Florida audience here.

I
Not in Jersey.

The local NYC CBS Station, which also covered North Jersey and Fairfield County, stayed with UConn. Heck, the game highlights even made the local NYC ABS sports news at 6 PM.

No change in Springfield MA zone either. And usually we're all screwed up for any games!
