Expect one or two more commits in coming weeks...

Whatever. Not really sure how to put it. The gist of my post is, this staff is for real, they aren’t shutting it down for 2o18 and I know it. That’s all I’ve got. Given that and their relationships with several other players, I expect a couple more guys. I’ll never say “I told you so” later so no worries on that. Just think we should keep watching for 2018 and not just 2019-2020.
All info is appreciated.

I like the fact the staff reached out to Matt Mooney. It shows they are trying for an A List GS. Things are silent right now with Trey Porter. Would be nice to throw some bait out for him also.

and are the names I keep hearing.

I know nothing and don’t want to speculate for the sake of it, but those would be the names I’d guess for this type of scenario.

Can't imagine that Cobb is a Dan Hurley type person
Williams might be too much of a project also

We need Bigs and thankfully there is one thing I will guarantee won’t happen with this staff.
We won’t be giving out a scholarship to a 4.0 GPA walk-0n senior - ain’t going to happen - no way! We aren’t chasing the 1,000 APR incentive bonus. Music to Chief’s ears!

Kenya Hunter's son is the most ideal kind of walk-on.

Am I the only one who thinks Whaley has an opportunity to be really really good?
No I personally like him. But I was wondering who the second player could be, I knew Cobb was one. I had forgotten about Kwintin Williams. I think Polley can be really good for us next yr

Cobb is NOT a Hurley type player. Williams at the 4 is though. And Carlton definitely is, we need to do all we can to make sure we keep Carlton he is the perfect 5 in Hurley's system.

No. I’m high on him as a finisher, offensive rebounder and rim protector. He has some major weaknesses but I really like him and he seems to be very coachable.

He isn't the guy I'd expect to be shown the door if they're doing that sort of thing. Defensively, at least, he could be great. That being said, he scored ten points in 100+ minutes played over the last 11 games. That's not a lot of points.
