Anyone detecting a pattern here? People have disappeared for lesser reasons. Is it Arby’s withdrawal? Revenge for a sister in law wedding? Anger over a Lowe’s order? Profanity filter shutting down his math nerd contest? Hit man for Fishy?

The Irish part of me always leaves a party without saying anything. I used to be called "shadow" for this skill. The Italian part of me has to spend 15 minutes saying good bye and hugging everyone. I don't do this too often except for family affairs.

Agreed, hope he is OK. I flew in for the final and he gave me his cell number and offered to let me park at his place and we planned to take the bus down to the arena together. We communicated through Saturday or Sunday but then on Monday I was unable to get a response. I took a chance and parked there anyway hoping I wouldn't get towed. I didn't. But I had a bit of a harrowing late night experience getting from the arena back up to my car. Be well Ewekon.

Wel, I think his only mistake was thinking it would be a good idea inviting a group of us to his home. I can't blame him for having second thoughts. I wouldn't want any of you knowing where I live and I sure as hell wouldn't trust you to use my bathroom.

Lol, I can kind of see August doing the math for the new kid and deciding to kick people out one by one and assume their identities, deplete their assets one by one.

8893 is fine. I wasnt a source for Ewekon being fine. I havent heard from him.

If it was my decision that is exactly the decision I would make. You have it down right to the desired destination. Well done. that trip isn't happening until 2024 (cant leave a 8 month old with family to go completely across the world for a couple weeks. put another year on her and we will either take her with us or feel better about leaving her with family).

Alas, I will, in fact, be required to attend this CT wedding in July. The things we do for love, I guess.
