I forget what exactly triggered the event, but I always will remember Evina doing the big "arm lock" on Paige, holding her back from an opposing player.

I think it was the UCF game in the tournament three years ago.
I really love Evina. She’s the ultimate teammate. I really hope to see her wrest a pro career from the fates.

Evina will always have a place in our hearts. A true warrior. She was a mature presence for the younger players, including Paige. She showed them how to carry themselves.
I just looked back to the box score and play by play for the game at Tennessee on 1/21/21. It was a weird year due to Covid but Tennessee allowed some fans as the crowd is listed at 3553.
Paige is remembered for hitting the key shot in the last minute of that game but with the score tied at 52, Evina hit consecutive threes to make it 58-52. Final was 67-61.
The following season, UConn crushed Tennessee at the XL Center. Evina played very well in both games, scoring 15 and 14.
Had to be incredibly gratifying for her to go 2-0 after all the crap she went through at Tennessee.
