Geno just wrote it:

“We’re not ready for anybody’s physicality, that’s the bottom line," Auriemma said. "That’s the team that we’re coaching right now, so we’ve got to figure out how to deal with it. Maybe we’ll deal with it great. I don’t know. Are we built for that? No. This isn’t that kind of team.”

UConn women preparing for physical game against UCF - Hartford Courant

Not sure he just wrote it. Even when Stewie was in Uniform physicality was a weapon used against UCONN. Rarely has it been successful but these teams cranked it up a notch: Rutgers in the NCAA tournament. East Carolina everytime we played down there. Maryland every chance they got. Baylor everytime, I actually think it cost Baylor the game at UCONN two season ago. UCF always brought some chippiness. Duke in the NCAA last year was especial physical.

Easy fix:

Start ‘Touly, and tell her her job is to soften them up a little bit before the first media timeout :p

.......... Geno was also asked about Batouly being used in a game where physicality is critical and while his answer was not as dismissive, he got his point across. " I would love to use Batouly if we figure out how to stop her from fouling every other play".

It's really not any kind of state secret being revealed, that the Huskies are primarily a finesse team somewhat lacking in depth. As for other teams bringing on the physicality when they play us, well if you don't have the skill level needed to beat the Huskies, then unfortunately there's really just one thing left in the toolbox, right?

I think last season's game at UCF really showed our lack of physicality when we were outscored 17-7 and out hustled in the 4th quarter and a lot of it was with the starters in. And in the 4th quarter, UCF changed their M.O. by putting up shots a lot quicker each possession and using full court pressure. We seemed totally unprepared for it and as Geno said after the, we just got tired.

being physical is just to knock UConn off their motion offense... clog things up, bump them etc. stop letting UConn do what they want to do. Good for the teams that like to get "physical" with UConn, their coaches are scouting

Remember them doing this to DT---ND and UT did a great job of banging DT around--but with her personality--it only inspired her.

Uconn is basically a finesse team, precision team they run flowing plans and plays. Little over the years has been brute force--Tina and Steff maybe--if you can knock UC out of sync--your half of the battle is won. None of this is new, DT, Maya, Stewie, etc not new. Geno and his teams have seen this in multiple years---this just another Geno canned public announcement.

If Geno would play her for more than 3 minutes a game, likely she would not feel she needed to play at 110 mph and hammer everything that moves. I love watching her play-many lessons the rest of the team could learn.

And she hit a lovely jumper in garbage time...
classic enough to show that perhaps she might get in before the last minute
