i understand that and thats exactly what he was. but some people saying he was a good player is just crazy to me. he was pretty bad.

So you choose to remember the very few dribbles off the foot others tend to think considering why he was brought in he did his job!! His piece of the puzzle was not more than coming in, being dependable, not necessarily shutting down the best player on O or scoring a ton but giving the couple minutes for a breath for Kemba, AJ whomever. He did that well. Good player? Yes he was for what was asked!

Both players on scholarship and can be talked about. Boatright tries just as hard Evans, but because Evan's doesn't play as much he cannot be criticized? All people are saying is that Evan's minuets needs to be reduced because he is not good enough to play at this level. They are correct. I am glad he sits on the bench and claps and wants to be here, but so does Brendan Allen, that doesn't mean he should be getting 10 or more min a game.

For every 10 threads about Napier, TO and Boat there is 1 about Evans, people are not giving them the same level scrutiny.

Yes, you talk about anyone. I totally agree. My attitude is if a guy is giving it his best shot and it's not enough, how much can you really criticize? But I want the players on my team to play hard, team ball. So my criticisms come when I see players not playing hard or not playing team ball.

Give the guy some credit, he was never "horrible". He was no Kemba Walker, or even a Taliek Brown, but he gave us solid minutes as a backup PG, didn't turn it over often, and was a decent shooter.

Exactly, we were better team with him on it.
