I follow the Ukrainian team very closely (almost as closely as the USMNT) and even I have barely heard of Dobvyk. He wasn’t on the u-20 WC winning team in 2019 or even their 2015 team. Storybook moment for him and the team.

Switzerland have looked incredible against Spain and finally have their equalizer!!!!

This is probably their best chance to make a legitimate title run. They’ve been consistently very good for over a decade now; time to see if they can take that next step.
 
Crap, that’s an iffy Red against Freuler. Gonna feel for the Swiss now if Spain go on and take the game, as I think would be easily expected.

The commentator made a great point that not every tackle that looks dangerous actually is/was. Should’ve given the yellow then reviewed for potential red

My kid did her study abroad semester in Copenhagen. She fell in love with the place, as so did we. My Denmark scarf and I are looking for a good place to watch the semi on Wednesday here in CT, preferably with a strong contingent of Danish fans. Suggestions?

I think Italy gets by Spain today. Their #10 is the most individually dynamic player of these two teams. And can't trust Morata

Italy is a very beatable team - Spain was the better side today
But you have to make the PKs
England is definitely in the drivers seat but have to take care of a Denmark team that really doesn't belong in the semis

Italy can knock off England.
And we get an Argentina - Brazil final this weekend
 
Italy looked like crap for the first time in the tourney against Spain and still pulled it out. If England can take care of Denmark I still give Italy the edge over England. The Brits are even better at choking than the Italians on the big stage.
