If these are rankings, and not just some other kind of list (alphabetical?:D), I’d like some of what Charlie’s smoking. Betts at #4 behind Donarski and Morrow? Maybe it’s a tossup between Betts and Hailey Van Lith if only because of the length of the commitment. A coach might get a great year (maybe 2) out of Hailey Van Lith but can build a program around Betts.

And as for guards, I like Donarski a lot, but not above some of the others. She’s an excellent defender and can shoot the 3, but she’s not the best playmaker on this list. And Day-Wilson and Curry look to be much too high. A 5’6” guard has to be a better playmaker than they are to be ranked that high. Park-Lane looks like a more promising one year spark than either of them.

And why is Darrione Rogers so low? I get it, DePaul is not a great showcase for transfers not named Morrow. But she was clutch every year.

When this article was published, 11 players had committed to new schools. In the last 10 days, another 9 have done so. There are now 15 players left of the original 35 ranked. Should be an interesting next few weeks.

Owusu is one of only 2 players on this list who've made an AA team. She should be on here even with her train wreck experience at VaTech. Both her and PaoPao could be sleeping giants for the right program.

Down to the delightful dozen that are not committed as of today. Wondering if 1-2 commits will release the rest like dominos.

I don't see any players that would help UConn except Morrow in relief...
Ware’s size and physicality could be helpful but I don’t think she’d be a difference maker. Barnum would be a solid backup but likely minimizes minutes for Brady/Patterson/Deberry which isn’t a worthwhile trade off for one year IMO. UCONN wasn’t in Morrow’s final 3. Fact is UCONN is loaded and deep at every position besides center and there don’t appear to be any top tier centers in the portal.

Morrow is coming to UConn, and she definitely isn't going anywhere she isn't guaranteed to start and play as many minutes as she wants.

With Taina Mair headed to Duke, we're down to the great eight. For those of you that are more dialed into WBB, are the rest of these transfers going to fall quickly like dominos once Morrow and perhaps 1-2 others commit? Is it possible that there are 1-2 decisions that are holding up others?

2. Aneesah Morrow, 6-foot-1, F, junior, DePaul
5. Endyia Rogers, 5-foot-7, G, graduate student, Oregon
12. Kennedy Fauntleroy, 5-foot-7, G, sophomore, Georgetown
19. Darrione Rogers, 5-foot-11, G, senior, DePaul
21. Erynn Barnum, 6-foot-2, G, graduate student, Arkansas
22. Aicha Coulibaly, 6-foot-0, G, senior, Auburn
31. Lauren Ware, 6-foot-5, C, sophomore, Arizona

Jewel Spear should be on this list...... she announced last Wednesday. Hasn't Creme updated it since then?

Believe it or not, he has not "bracketologied" the transfer list, lol. This is still the original list of 35, and the last article updated had some but not all the commits listed (shoddy reporting/journalism IMHO).

Your guesses for Barnum or Coulibaly, or did I miss announcements?

Well, as it turns out I guess I simply can't read. They have not yet committed to LSU. Sorry about that.

UConn's roster is at 14 players. IMHO, no interest unless there's a specific fit, ie, no promise on playing time, etc. Although we lost two players to graduation, we're gaining 4 freshmen, and 2 players who were injured last year.
