ESPN supporting Houston move to Big XII?

I am sure there are already plenty of Big XII fans in Houston. However, Houston is projected to pass Chicago as #3 on the largest cities list and its demographics may tend to support the local team rather than the official team of the Big XII.

Funny thing about this...Brooklyn alone used to be the 3rd largest city in the US...and that wasn't too long ago. With the boom in population in that borough I can still see it holding that title.

Houston has another big advantage when it comes to size, the city currently encompasses 627 square miles, which is roughly half the size of the State of Rhode Island, and is just about double Chicago's land mass of 234 square miles. NYC has 304 square miles while #2 LA is at 469 square miles.
