FWIW, Florida has more top 25 wins than Creighton, DePaul, & UConn combined. I’m not sure the NET tells the entire story of a team.

Did they beat those teams on their own talent or did the "ranked team" play like an unranked team. Or maybe sopme of those ranked teams they beat are no longer ranked and maybe never should have. The whole "ranked wins" argument misses the point that teams have good and bad games and that the rankings from 15-25 vary a lot. For instance, Uconn lost to an unranked GTech that immediately became ranked and is now the 11th ranked team (AP). So all those ACC teams can claim a win over a "ranked team" while UConn gets penalized for a "bad loss".:rolleyes:

Why aren't we hearing about tier 1 wins or tier 4 losses?

Actually Florida is a very good team right now they just started off the season rough. Surprisingly they are better without Briggs but it seems she was a cancer and they’re excelling without her. In all honesty I think Florida would beat UConn right now as well at that NC State squad they lost to by 33. All of the ranked teams they beat are still ranked and worthy of their rankings. I don’t think UConn got penalized at all for losing to GT and Louisville. UConn also struggled against DePaul recently and needed a last second shot and only beat a terrible Providence team by 8. I think Florida’s ranking is warranted considering how many of those ranked wins they have compared to other programs whose ranked based on name…

I don’t think UConn got penalized at all for losing to GT and Louisville.
When they played GT, it was unranked GT vs. 3 UConn. First game without Bueckers, no Fudd, and no Muhl. They still won their next game against UCLA, but they moved from 3 to 7.

When they played Louisville, it was a 6 (UL) vs. 7 (UConn) matchup and UConn lost by 5 without Bueckers, Fudd, or Muhl.

In the next AP poll, UL moves up to 3 and UConn moves down to 11.

I don't think UConn has been penalized for their close games or their loss to SC, but they definitely took a hit in the polls after GT and UL.

I think I'm selling Florida.

While I might rank them near the bottom of the top 25 or I might not, I'd be thinking the whole time whether Massey might be more accurate (48th).

NC State and UConn would thrash them badly IMO.
