and Vanderbilt lost by 55 to South Carolina, every result you can pick and choose. Creighton has done nothing to give anyone reason to think they are a legit team. Playing in the big least is irrelevant.
not sure what 'legit' means, but Creighton is a top 40 team

LOL Creighton goes into Fayetteville and beats Arkansas, and yet they only get your insults because they don't play in a "gauntlet" conference. You're funny.

would that be the same Arkansas wbb that put 80 on this Uconn team when they were healthy? That same Arkansas team that beat Uconn last year, and put 3 20+ pt scorers on Mulkey's defense?
Yep, that’s the one.

did you not read what the poster above you said, they had 3 players out. It's funny how many take pride in a win when a team is short-handed. Then again you were the one that tried to make a point by Louisville beating a Uconn team that was basically playing half a roster down.

Try to make your point without attacking others.

I have no idea what is troubling UT, maybe they were just playing over their heads earlier. I won’t predict who will win because I know UConn misses PB in addition to UT being tough to judge when comparing their earlier performances with the latter. Hoping for a good game.

FWIW, Florida has more top 25 wins than Creighton, DePaul, & UConn combined. I’m not sure the NET tells the entire story of a team.
Yeah no system of rating is all-inclusive, not even NET. I agree with you there. I’m not saying whether Florida is better or worse than any team. What I am saying is Creighton is not a bad team simply for their conference placement. It’s gotta be other reasons than that, which you provided that Florida has more top-25 wins so that’s definitely fair.

Even simply having more top-25 wins isn’t all-inclusive since all of Florida’s top wins are solely in the SEC. The SEC has a specific style of play, so I would say Florida’s current wins are more reflective of being a great grind it out team. Good for them for all their wins!

As we just saw from the Tenn-UConn game grind it out games aren’t always winnable especially when the 3 is being shot hot. Depaul and Creighton love to shoot threes.

yea Sec is just better than any other wcbb conference. Florida would easily finish 2nd in the Big Least.

Both Creighton and Depaul are ranked significantly higher than Florida and Auburn in the NET rankings. So no, SEC is not better than the Big East in every team matchup.
That’s exactly what the post said:
The SEC is less than (<) the Big East.

They also have losses to Towson and Massey No, 239 George Mason.
Since when is the AP top 25 the last word on rankings?

Oops, sorry, didn't notice your team affiliation. You guys love the AP. Not that it matters this year, your team is making the SEC look worse than the AAC.

Florida beat Tennessee last game 84-59. UConn won 75-56 today. IDK what that means but Florida won by 25, UConn won by 19. Does that make Florida better than UConn? :).

At the very least, it means your touché game is weak.

Mizzou beat South Carolina and then lost by 16 at home to Ole Miss. Does that make Ole Miss 16+ points better than South Carolina?

Funny how you conveniently neglected to mention that Florida also has a Quad 4 loss — of which Creighton, DePaul, and UConn have a combined total of zero.

There was no touché game. I wasn’t pulling for either team. Just adding to the ifs and buts of the rest of the thread. I thought my ‘logic” was ridiculous enough that it wouldn’t be taken seriously. My bad.

I thought that the :) at the end of your post sorta gave it away...but was that the real intent? hmm
