Did they beat those teams on their own talent or did the "ranked team" play like an unranked team. Or maybe sopme of those ranked teams they beat are no longer ranked and maybe never should have. The whole "ranked wins" argument misses the point that teams have good and bad games and that the rankings from 15-25 vary a lot. For instance, Uconn lost to an unranked GTech that immediately became ranked and is now the 11th ranked team (AP). So all those ACC teams can claim a win over a "ranked team" while UConn gets penalized for a "bad loss".

Why aren't we hearing about tier 1 wins or tier 4 losses?
