They gave them an in saying “Providence” and hardly a boo. They gave them an in with “Rip and JC” hardly a cheer. So far weak effort!

0-3 on College Gameday games?

Sounds like they turned down the fan noise mics since the beginning of the show? (they were louder at start) Rip just sank a midcourt 3 and you could hardly hear the crowd.

No mention of Shabazz.
He has to be on the list. No shade on any of the picks but what Bazz did with the supporting cast was legendary. The top five list was basically those who went on to nba success. And really the program is just to good to pick a five players all time list without someone or several players being snubbed. Donyell and Ray were great but we never got to a final four or won an ncaa championship with them playing. In fact Donyell with those missed free throws may have cost us our first trip. But his talent was immense. The condor he was Connie Hawkins #2. Not even sure why they would have a segment like that….just ESPN filling time.

These kids just don’t get it. Not a strong enough or loud enough reaction with JC and Rip. We are talking about 2 of the absolute most important pieces to UConn basketball and they were too quiet.

Like I said, I think they adjusted the mics to drown out the crowd noise so the hosts can be heard better. They were much louder at the beginning of the broadcast.

If Shabazz is in the list, who are you taking off? Ray and Donyell were pillars to the foundation of what UConn became.

Current students probably don't even remember the Calhoun era at all. They would have been like 6-8 years old when he retired lol

I agree. When they just rained boos on the Duke mention the volume increased.

The production staff is playing games with this.

Yell has to go. Bazz was incredible.

Yell may have actually been the best Husky ever you can’t take him off he was incredible as was Bazz. That was a solid top 5 and the guys knocking on the door such as Bazz, Caron, Ben are certainly in any argument,

IMHO, Bazz belongs. Being top 5 of the program must be representative. He earned this distinction because he got us 2 nattys, especially during that dark era. The arguments for being pioneer and foundation of this program is valid, but Ray is enough to represent.
