ESPN will be running a tournament-style bracket with 64 of the best men's AND women's CBB players of all time. The full bracket is being released tonight at 7pm, but I can tell you that 6 UConn players made the cut (5 women, 1 man). Fans vote to determine the winners.

Try to guess the 5 ladies to make the bracket!

I can't imagine any of the ladies making it out of the first round. I dislike including them because then it continues with the sort of (IMHO)) silly arguments about "could a woman play on a NBA team". The answer is a resounding "no", but I think fans of the men's side get a tad annoyed at the inclusion.

There is no planet where any of the UCONN female greats are better than even the 64th best all time male player.

If ESPN workers have that much time, why not use the same format and create a top 64 for the women? I bet folks like Voepel, Mowins, Landers, Burke, Amin, Lobo, Lawson, Rowe, Taylor, Amin, etc etc. could come up with an appropriate list...

Only one CBB won 4 national titles and 4 MOPs, and it wasn't a man.
And as a sneak peek, that player is a 1-SEED in this tournament. So yeah, I think she's making it out of the first round.

Lobo will be one of the main analysts on this.

Surprised that there is only one player from the men's side. Kemba and Bazz should both be there. I have to think Ray Allen might be worth a nod as well.

Stewie a #1 seed. DT a #2 seed.
#1 seeds are: Stewie, Jabbar, Walton and
Lattner ???.

East Region: Stewart and is #1 seed, Lobo #10, Staley #14

And Rip and Emeka.

Among the four #1 seeds, Lew Alcindor, Christian Laettner, Breanna Stewart and Bill Walton,
I will say yes only to Breanna.

Can’t disagree. And all those players and Jason Williams is a top 64....nope

The talking heads on the ESPN show picked their winners.
Jabbar/Alcindor #1 on 3 ballots
Jordan #1 on 1
DT #1. on 1
Stewie #1 on 1

Never heard of this - interesting but at the same time it stinks. I don't see how they can be comparable.
