Storrs Central: Eric Reibe FIBA U19 World Cup Film Review

I still think our biggest weak area is not having that 3rd center. Yes, Reed and Reibe are going to be an awesome 1 - 2 punch....but there will the wrong type of game team.....especially at the wrong time in the NCAA tourney.....where if they both get into foul trouble in the first half they might be heavily exposed offensively and defensively.
I think people are discounting Koroma too easily. He's an experienced college center. Yes, he's played at a lower level. And yes, he's not too big. But how many minutes all season does a 3rd string center play? We also have really good players all around at the other 4 positions. What exactly do you need from your 3rd string center? Plus, who do you think you're getting for the 3rd center to sit on the bench 95% of the season?

I know we've discussed this ad nauseam but not worried at all about this.

He's not a center.

Any chance we see more of Reibe at the 4 than the 5, with more of a role for Koroma? I am bullish on Koroma. I wonder if Reibe doesn't get beat up when he plays the 5, and if he's not better suited for and more effective at the 4.

He isn't playing the 4 much at all. Too slow

Double K, Karaban and Koroma, is the answer. Not a third string bench warmer that happens to be 6'11".
