Did you miss the part where Fishy said he was in horrible shape? He gets winded.

8 months to work on his fitness. Don't know his limitations but guessing there will be clear if not dramatic improvement. Could be other issues impacting this we don't know about.

The grad transfer route isn't as appealing with this team.

We're not gearing up for a title run next year and a stop-gap player who won't be here the following season isn't in our long-term interests. Better to try to develop a player.

That's about all of my expectations for him. That's literally it. I'm not sure he's going to provide a lot more than that, but that's what I hope he can do.

One minute per game is far worse than "getting winded." With copd and chronic kidney disease I could do more than one minute per game.

Plays 10 seconds, gets winded, subs out...six times a game. Averages 1 minute.
