There was a clip going around a while back that was a total comedy of errors, and Vital and Jalen Adams both commented on it on Twitter, like, I can't believe this happened. Can't remember the specificsI sometimes try to pinpoint rock bottom during the latter KO years. If I remember correctly, we scored 12 points in the first half one game. That may have been it.
The hockey line change but with the entire team.So St. John's is just going to reload with 15 new players. LOL! What a a joke that is.
First thing that popped into my mind was the loss to Yale at Gampel. Brutal. Scored like 40 something points, totally pathetic. There was a clip going around a while back that was a total comedy of errors, and Vitale and Jalen Adams both commented on it on Twitter, like, I can't believe this happened. Not rock bottom. But that season-opening Wagner loss. In Gampel. 2016. Oof.First thing that popped into my mind was the loss to Yale at Gampel. Brutal. Scored like 40 something points, totally pathetic.
But in reality it's probably some completely unforgettable stretch of basketball in some random, meaningless AAC game in a gym in New Orleans or something that was completely rock bottom.
That was a tough stretch to watch.
Looks like Ville is finished at the 4, locking up guys while their neighbor can't land a thing.
What is Rick rolling back? No Darling, no Sanon. Seems he simply wants to start from scratch every year.
Losing to Wagner and Northeastern to open the 2016-2017 season had to be close to rock bottom. Though I think the 2017-2018 season may have somehow been worse.I sometimes try to pinpoint rock bottom during the latter KO years. I think 2nd rounders (or UDFA's) are only subject to the 25% of team salary cap maximum. So a team could spend 1/4th of its salary cap on a 2nd round pick if they wanted. That being said, that would never happen but technically it's possible.Question - can nba teams negotiate second round contracts so they mimic first? Or are there limitations? Some of these early second rounders may be as good or better than late first.

That was the one. PainfulI remembered that and looked for it and couldn’t find it. It was two guys (I think Onoruah and Kwentin Williams) fighting for the same rebound and falling down awkwardly and then Brendan Adams grabbing it and saving it off Vital and out of bounds. It was like a 4-on-0 battle for a rebound and we ended up not getting it.
So much for Kentucky getting who they want nowadays.
It's a coaches sport. If you don't bring the right one in, you will fall on your face quick. It still hasn't dawn on them that Cal was the brand, not Kentucky.
Are you saying both Louisville and St John are commuter schools? If so I agree.Commuter school with a limitless budget.
Bingo. That's the thing that's never talked about and it's awful for the 18 year old kid who dreams about getting scholarship offers to P5 schools. Unless they're a 5 star or a high 4 star, top 50 type recruit they are looked at as nothing coming out of high school these days. I hate it.It's almost like nobody even cares about recruiting. Lost in all of this are the incoming freshmen.
The portal is now the main part of recruiting.
Losing 2 of your top 3 players to start a season is a crazy amount of lack of luck.
Ollie had given up so it doesn’t matter. But an Adams, Hamilton Brimah combo with a healthy Gilbert off the bench should’ve been a good team.
The wheels just fell off with injuries, transfers, you name it those last two years. Ollie seemed like a really bad CEO of a program. It takes a lot more than just coaching to be successful.
I think you have it the other way around. He is more athletic(Not a super athelete but Alex was really bad Athlete) than Alex but not as long or as big. He is more of a 3. He is supposed to be a good shooter. He was an McDonald's All-American.His game is similar to Karaban's. He's bigger than Alex but less athletic. Hard to tell about his shooting.
he's not bigger than AK, they just shared the floor, he was definitely not bigger than him. AK has put on some bulk after 4 years. His game is similar to Karaban's. He's bigger than Alex but less athletic. Hard to tell about his shooting.
From the videos I just watched, he looked to have a much wider frame. But he didn't seem to have the same footspeed.he's not bigger than AK, they just shared the floor, he was definitely not bigger than him. AK has put on some bulk after 4 years.
Maybe a different player? He definitely has better foot speed than Karaban who was extremely slow and doesn't have the length or built as him. From the videos I just watched, he looked to have a much wider frame. But he didn't seem to have the same footspeed.
