Entering the portal - 2026

Is PC's Oswin one of the 6 "top" centers??? If so, there are alot more than just the top 6 who will help us..

No Diop, Bidunga, Hines, kid from GA, kid from cinci, kid from SMU.

Oswin is way back there.

Big Blue Nation (BBN) is the passionate, widespread fanbase for University of Kentucky (UK) athletics, particularly men's basketball, women's basketball, and football. Known for intense loyalty, BBN supports teams that frequently contend in the SEC, with recent news focusing on basketball roster changes under coach Mark Pope and spring football updates
Wait they play football? 🤣

Dare I say this crap is ridiculous?
Crap is too mild a word. The transfer rule is the big culprit, coupled with NIL makes “college” sports a disgusting joke. Why not just make it what it already is, a world apart from the universities. Let them just sponsor teams, sign players to a contract, and be minor leagues for the pros. In the unlikely event a player wants to apply to the school to get a degree, they can apply like any other kid. I am enjoying college sports less and less. As Seinfeld puts it, we root for laundry. That’s what has happened to D1 sports.

It's one thing to sulk regarding playing time and play half-hearted towards the end of the season, but come tournament time (where everything is on display) he was just a body to absorb fouls.

Any decent coach recruiting Reibe as a portal addition would weigh how he still looked listless in the biggest stage of CBB.
Any decent coach also looks at the total package and may see something that you and I don’t- why? Because I am assuming that you are not a decent High level D1 coach and I know I am not. Perhaps Pope sees something he can get out of Eric and can work on his apparent issue of allowing his attitude screw with his ability to give 100%. Not at all sure it will work out but someone will take a chance at a 7 footer who showed glimpses of success against some high national teams earlier this season.

Duke Brennan-Nova-in portal
How the hell is Brennan even going to argue for eligibility? He played 30+ games every season of his 4 year career...

I get these dudes want to make as much money as they can stateside but come on, man

He's hoping the NCAA changes the eligibility generally to 5 years

Who cares with this developing PG stuff - Michigan just won it by finding someone else's bad goods at PG. Many ways to skin a cat and that way doesn't seem like the one that works most often, and it's not 2011 anymore. Imposing your preference for how it was done in an era long ago isn't called adapting, it's called holding on.

We came within 4 awful calls of winning a title with a new PG from the portal. Clayton, portal. Newton, portal.

Let's see how we do against Michigan here for what I would think is a real rim protector - haven't seen him, but 7'3".

Was quoted as saying his/advisor's interpretation of new eligibility rules might allow him to satisfy NCAA. Have no idea if it works for him but someone is telling him his chances are good.

I hope to see fewer “X is now in the portal” and more “UConn signs one of the best players in the portal” announcements soon!

Ville & UK battling it out for who can blow the most NIL and set the market in the most ridiculous fashion. Dodo's who love hoops and are willing to open their pocketbook are hysterival.

UofL is also gunning heavily for Murauskas although UConn is still in the mix along with 2 others. I agree with your statement, especially Louisville.

I'm convinced Holloway is part of the problem, I don't think high majors will be knocking on his door.
You could be right as even Clark is transferring and he was given the green light to lead the offense and be the main scoring threat. That was a surprise. These others like HInes and Darr showed glimpses of what they could offensively if given a chance but it does seem like the lack offensive prowess at Seton Hall could be an issue for a lot of these players.
