I don't think they're far apart, both F4 caliber - I do think McKenney is the best player and will be the best pro. I like that Cadeau plays like a true PG. I realize Ball may have been hurt, but his deficiencies aren't going away. Silas is the best defender of the bunch.I would say to your last point. Depends on the health of Silas/Ball and which ref crew is calling the game.
Is McKinney coming back? He’s a huge talent. Cadeau I believe is overrated- Silas would’ve ate his lunch if fully healthy & if the refs didn’t call some bad fouls.Juke, McKinney & Cadeau would be a championship level backcourt. They had no where to go but down from Mara/Johnson/Lendenborg. Those three don't exist in this portal class. Dusty stepped in s last portal season. This should rule out Bidunga to UM. He wouldn't seem a fit anywhere as he'd play the 4 and he has zero away from the rim skills.
This whole year should be a step down in quality of play. You won't have to be Michigan 2026 good to win it this upcoming year. I'm expecting Pitino to put something gnarly together. Duke should have a good team. Michigan St will be good if they can build off their core in the portal.
That he has a near perfect 1990's UConn power forward name is enough to get me to want this kid.Since I’m a rule follower by nature I think this is the only thread I can comment on UConn interest players, but just to be safe, I’m starting to warm on UConn’s interest in Syracuse’s Donnie Freeman.
Defensive effort has been a concern about Freeman’s play, but I wonder how much of that is mitigated by him playing in Autry’s watered-down zone at Syracuse.
With his length and athleticism, it would not surprise to see Hurley coach up Freeman’s defense at UConn, should he join.
He’s a beast and such a productive, skilled, strong player … when he doesn’t take plays off - which he was allowed to do at ‘Cuse. I’m worried about Freeman being injury prone. Not worried about the effort part because this staff would ensure Donnie’s attitude and focus change. He is exactly what we need at the four… even though I said 2 weeks ago that I hoped the staff would reach out to Murauskas and make him a priority.Since I’m a rule follower by nature I think this is the only thread I can comment on UConn interest players, but just to be safe, I’m starting to warm on UConn’s interest in Syracuse’s Donnie Freeman.

In addition, they didn’t have a GM running the business side. I think they just hired one this week for the first time? But I heard Sha was previously very stubborn about it. They have really fumbled the NIL thingFrom what I heard he didn't use all the money available to him this past year and got the mid to even low major recruits he wanted. It seems he has a type which is undersized not very talented but scrappy defensive minded players who will run through walls for him. That's not a way to win in a major conference and he can't even keep those guys.
If this is true, I wouldn’t worry because it means we won’t be that interestedI'd love to know how many Syracuse games the people who want Donnie Freeman have watched the last 2 years. Because as a person who has watched at least 50, there are so many red flags with him. His ceiling is incredibly high, but there are just so many red flags. The Cuse board also says he'll want a giant bag this year because he took a discount with them last year.

Incredibly high ceiling is what this staff wants, red flags or not. If he took a discount to stay last year it means he has some solid character in him somewhere.
UK is in a state where no one wants to go there with Pope. I think players put them on the list to drive up the price tag. It’s getting a bit gross with them as they are on everyone they’re so desperate to land players. It’s as if Pope doesn’t have a plan.
Sounds like the answer to my question is 0 games watched. If he's not the right fit, we'll learn when he visits. Not concerned.

He’s going to be Wolf for them. Dusty thinks he has a lot of untapped potential as a scorer.I'd guess he's going to play him in the Wolf role. Highly doubt he's his single 5 going into next year. It's probably how he signed him so quickly.
If I'm UConn, I prefer Silas to Cadeau. If I'm Michigan, I prefer Cadeau. Different teams, with different needs from the position. UConn's offense isn't supposed to have a true PG. We don't want anyone on the ball that much. While we were good last year, the PG had the ball too much because Solo isn't a passer and Mullins didn't start facilitating until late in the year.I don't think they're far apart, both F4 caliber - I do think McKenney is the best player and will be the best pro. I'd expect May to put good players around Cadeau again, and he'll have another year in his system. Not that it matters, but both of their kids were top 20 coming out of HS, Cadeau was 11 and TM was 18.
Another option at the 4 that checks off a lot of boxes for a Karaban replcaement:
6'8" 230 and finished the season as the Horizon Player of the Year. Averaged 15.2p, 8.7r, 1.4a and finished with insane efficiency rates w/ a 67 2P%, 58 3P% (62 3PAs vs D1 opps) and a good enough TO rate for him to finish with the 14th best ORtg in the nation, per KenPom.
Over the last two seasons, Toole has done a very nice job at Robert Morris, winning 48 wins, making the NCAA Tournament once and finishing w/ top-50 KenPom ranks, which is damn good for a Horizon team. Nice translation between the two systems as RM's offense is very strong in the halfcourt and has top-25 rates in A/FGM. They rebound well on both ends of the floor and their defense is rock solid too.
I'm sure there will be a long line for DeSean Goode.
Surprising if true, aligns with his post game comments. Tough start to the post season if he is on the move.

We should stop posting that account. Mostly an aggregator, now adding speculation. This is not what "breaking" means
It literally makes no sense given next year's draft and NIL.Demary is much, much more likely to declare and come back to UConn than stay in the draft or transfer.

Just last season he shot 62.9% FG and 47.8 3pt% (36/63). Damn.Kid shot the bejesus out of the ball over the past 2 seasons. 48% on 113 attempts.
