elite mlb playas vs elite nba playas, not mlb vs nba

the thread from days ago got lost in tangents

original premise: compare what elite of mlb do to entertain fans vs what elite of nba do to entertain & amaze fans

the word athleticism is too fuzzy

example: mlb
clemente, mays, mantle, Koufax, Gibson, kaline, marichal, stargel, maury wills, lou brock, stan the man, bunning , rose, ford,

nba: dr j, Alcindor, wilt, cousy, west, big o, shaq, magic, Jordan, Russell, havlecheck, olijawon, ? ?

elite guys only=superhumans (don't try to put guys in different sports even though a good question is how many guys and who played 2 or more sports like burrel, bo Jackson, gene connley, debussher, Jordan)

also, don't try to compare the 700 mlb guys vs 400 nba guys (way too many stiffs)

just look at supermen

mlb provides more variety of superhuman glimpses even though it is boring due to playing with rosin bag & tea bags, stall tactics, to's, mgr visits, raIN delays, bunnies on field, strippers with bigs getting on field to meet cal ripken to kiss his cheek and shimmy shake for him, fans climbing foul poles or fans interfering with fair balls etc
